Groups represented by the PRwiss
The PRwiss represents the academic employees ("wissenschaftlich Beschäftigte") of the University of Bonn and the University Hospital. That is over 5000 people, belonging to different groups. A general definition of who belongs to the employees represented by the different staff councils and who does not can be found in the LPVG NRW §5.
In many cases, we rely on YOU to contact us and - if desired - actively involve us in the processes surrounding your employment.
Academic Employees
Academic employees in departments and other facilities at the University and the University Hospital who are among the persons named under LPVG NRW §5 (these are the German denominations that are used in your work contract):
- Akademische Rät*innen (AR), Oberrät*innen (AOR) und Direktor*innen (AD)
- Lehrbeauftragte mit vier und mehr Semesterwochenstunden (SWS) Lehrdeputat
- Lehrkräfte für besondere Aufgaben (LfbA)
- Studien- und Oberstudienrät*innen, Studiendirektor*innen
- Wissenschaftliche Hilfskräfte (WHF & WHK)
- Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter*innen (WMA)
- Wissenschaftlich tätige Ärzt*innen und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter*innen am UKB
